Our goal is to raise the highest quality AKC Maltese possible. We have a passion for the breed and are devoted to preserving it to the best of our ability. MUST LOVE MALTESE are raised by Joyce Laut and Linda Seguin, whom combined have over 25 years of breeding experience in a rural area outside of Farmington, MO. We are small scale hobby breeders producing sound and healthy pups. We are proud supporters of the Maltese Rescue organization in our region.

Missouri is notorious for puppy mills; we've seen the elegant qualities of the Maltese diluted through poor breeding. Consequently, we thoroughly research the pedigrees of our dogs and dedicate ourselves to matching characteristics which compliment each other in our puppies. We strive to raise show quality puppies and are complimented to have many return customers as well as referrals!

The Maltese is a breed of elegance, with an abundance of joy and love. Snuggle time is as important to them as playtime. They are generally hearty with a fearless loving heart however due to their small size; they must be protected by their owners. All our puppies are "home raised" without a connection to a puppy broker or commercial kennel and we will always be available to our puppies' owners. You are welcome to come to visit the puppies and their parents. We prefer to hand deliver our babies if at all possible; and will ship only as a last resort. Our prices reflect the quality and commitment we have to our breed in addition to the care and concern we have for our puppies, their parents, and new human family.
